Play Day

We have the whole week off from work and school and we've been doing lots of fun things. Yesterday, we rode our bikes to the lake park, which is just blocks from home. We played on the structures and rode the trails for a while. But first, we started the day with gingerbread waffles (thanks, Mom!)--they were yummy!

I attended Ava's TG feast in her kindergarten class, but forgot my camera :( She was running around in her ensemble this evening, so I snapped a picture.

She's 5!!!!!

And got up at 4:30 this morning, when Mommy got up, and started her day opening a few presents. Later, it's cupcakes at school, then dinner at Olive Garden and birthday cake and presents at home. More pictures to come.
